Each class is challenged to develop formational learning experiences throughout the year. Formational learning experiences (FLEx) are active ways students take their learning and engage in the world beyond the classroom. 

Service projects throughout the community are a part of every grade level, including preschool. Recent projects have included partnering with Love in Action, House of Hope in Honduras, Muskegon Rescue Mission, and with local senior living facilities.
