Surround Care Teaching Assistant
Grand Haven Christian is seeking individuals to assist in our after-school program, Surround Care. Individuals should have availability in the late afternoon with flexibility on the numbers of days based upon availabiity, along with the possibility of additional hours on snow days and/or scheduled days off, including the summer months.
We are seeking individuals passionate about students and helping them grow in both their learning faith. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Lead Teacher with activities
- Helping keep learning areas safe and tidy.
- Providing a welcoming, inclusive learning atmostphere for all students.
Experience with young children is preferred. Candidates should be at least 18 years old and have a love for Christ, the ability to relate to adults and students, and a commitment to Reformed Christian Education. Substitute Teachers
Grand Haven Christian is seeking individuals that are willing to be on the school’s preschool through 8th grade substitute teacher list for the 2025/2026 school year. Experience in the classroom is preferred. There is flexibility on the grade level(s) depending upon preference.
