Heather Grisales

6th-8th SI and Assistant Coordinator of the WMCEC Spanish Immersion Programs

I was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan.  I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Spanish, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, both from Western Michigan University.  My undergraduate studies included a semester study abroad in Querétaro, México and I  also traveled and lived in other countries such as Belize, Honduras, Colombia, and Guatemala.
I have over 10 years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher, and 10 years of experience in leadership. I also work part-time with the WMC Education Collaborative as assistant coordinator of the Spanish Immersion program.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my daughters, Camila and Giana. I also love to read, be involved at my local church, exercise, and travel the world.

Deep Hope

My deep hope is that in the midst of a broken world, you can live and respond in wise and loving ways that reflect God’s character to be able to help others.

Mi anhelo profundo es que en el medio de un mundo quebrantado, puedas vivr y responder de manera sabia y amorosa que refleje el carácter de Dio para poder ayudar a los demás.
